Obtain permanent residency in Cyprus through investment in 2025

The Cyprus Residency by Investment program allows successful applicants and their families to obtain unlimited residency in Cyprus within just two months. After five years of residency under this permit, the investor can apply for Cypriot citizenship.

In 2025, permanent residency in Cyprus can be obtained through an investment of at least €300,000 in real estate or securities and proof of an annual income of at least €50,000. If the investment is made in residential property, the entire income must come from abroad. For other types of investments, part or all of the income may originate from Cyprus.

Requirements for Obtaining Residency Through Investment:

💰 Minimum investment of €300,000 in one of the following categories:

  • Purchase of a new residential property (apartment or house) worth at least €300,000 + VAT
  • Purchase of commercial property (offices, shops, hotels, etc.)
  • Investment in shares of a Cypriot company with a physical presence and at least five employees
  • Investment in funds under the Cyprus Investment Organization of Collective Investments (AIF, AIFLNP, RAIF)

📈 Income Criteria:

  • The applicant must prove an annual income of at least €50,000
  • Income must increase by €15,000 for a spouse and €10,000 for each dependent child
  • If investing in residential real estate, the entire income must come from abroad

Possibility of Citizenship

After five years of residency in Cyprus within a seven-year period, the applicant can apply for citizenship.
During this period, the applicant must have spent at least 1,825 days in Cyprus, and in the last year before the application, they must reside continuously in Cyprus.
